Why You Should Never Even Think About Camping Without a Camping Chair

Article by J. Forrester

It’s just unfathomable to think that anyone would consider going camping without camping chairs. There are several reasons for relying on this accessory piece of furniture whether you’re camping on the beach or hiking and camping in the wilds.

ComfortMaybe the primary reason in toting a camp chair with you on your camping excursions is the ultimate comfort you can enjoy. No matter the camp chair of choice you are guaranteed what you deserve in terms of relaxation.

For instance, a recliner with locking footrest or lounger with removable cup holder are two forms of luxury at the camp site that offer a nice diversion from other camp activities. Of course, other camping chairs such as oversized, padded quad chairs and hammock chairs offer a nice bit of indulgence to the weary camper as well.

Even if you’re hiking, camp chairs such as backpacking chairs and folding camping chairs such as folding stools are lightweight chairs that can be easily transported and used for purposes of rest and relaxation along the trail.

MobilityAll the camping chairs offer portability which is essential when camping. Most are made of lightweight steel frames and can be housed in carrying cases or bags for maximum mobility. The cases or bags also protect camp chairs from damage, which can definitely happen with the amount of moving around a person does while camping. Because of their ease of transport, most folding camping chairs can be readily moved and taken wherever you want to go.

FeaturesEach camp chair has a number of exceptional features depending on its use. For example, the rocking camping chair is a durable rocker that offers such features as headrest, padded armrests, and a fabric that is waterproof and stain resistant. Likewise, the portable deck chair is a folding camp chair that provides, in some styles, ergonomic design combined with substantial padding and straps that forfeit the need for you to carry a bag.

The ever-popular quad chair offers plenty of comfort, with some models providing such amenities as cup holders, coolers, and security pockets. For backpackers, the butterfly chair is a very accessible chair. Less than a pound, it’s easy to carry and sets up without difficulty. In addition, most of these chairs can accommodate anyone up to 250 pounds.

Of course, hammock chairs can speak for themselves by way of the rest and relaxation they offer. Suspended from a tree branch on a summer’s day, you can luxuriate in the warm breeze.Put your feet in the footrest and take your thoughts away to the land of peace and tranquility. Then there are the loveseats for cozy nights fireside. These double chairs come in various styles, such as rockers, collapsible beach chairs, inflatable chairs, with some offering built-in cup holders.

A camping trip just wouldn’t be a camping trip without the appropriate chair. Otherwise, you’ll defeat the purpose of going in the first place.

Article by Peter

Most of the people who want to go outdoors own at least one of these. They can use this when they are going out camping or trekking in mountains, lakes, and in the wilderness. Using this can give a lot of great benefits to the outdoor enthusiasts. This is why since this kind of innovation has been introduced in the market there have been more people have been taking advantage of its useful benefits.

Folding chairs are good things to bring when you go out camping because this will provide you with more portability compared to bringing a normal chair. It is always good to use folding chairs when camping or trekking so that you will not have to sit on muddy or dirty grounds when you get tired.

This kind of chair is also very light to bring because of the materials used. An aluminum folding chair is very light that carrying it inside your backpacks will not even let you feel its weight. Because of its weight, it would be very convenient to carry in your backpacks without putting much effort. Lightness in carrying it is what makes one of these a very good gadget to bring when going out for camping and nature trekking.

You can place this chair beside your tent, beside the campfire, and practically just any place in the campsite where you want to sit down and relax. You can even use this chair as you take a rest at the middle of the trail when you get tired. With this, you can effectively enjoy the sceneries of nature.

Since it can be folded, it can be easily and conveniently be stored inside the backpacks. Most of the folding chairs available in the market can be stored in the backpacks without taking so much space. Bringing one of these will still allow you to bring other important goods for camping such as clothing, tents, sleeping bags, and of course foods.

One of these is a must because it can provide you with the luxury of sitting a good and durable chair even while you are in the wilderness. These are very cheap so you can buy more for the whole family so that when you go out camping together, each member of the family can sit comfortably at the campsite.

Just load them up and take them to your local car wash and spray them down then let them set in the sun to dry. The car wash does have a wash and rinse cycle.

Did you or will you use chair covers for your wedding? Should I?

Friday, November 12th, 2010

Question by ynra BTB 4-18-09: Did you or will you use chair covers for your wedding? Should I?
here’s the deal. I wanted to rent chair covers for my wedding. I feel that if you are going for the elegant, sophisticated look then you should use chair covers. but the problem is that my guest list keeps going up and that means the cost of the rental goes up also. so i’m debating whether i’m doing the right thing or am i wasting money by getting the chair covers. Does it really make the room more elegant.
thanks in advance.

P.S- the chairs in the hall are really nice they aren’t plastic or folding chairs.
the chairs are black

Best answer:

Answer by brwneyes
I am having my wedding reception in a 4 star hotel in Las Vegas right off the Strip. The chairs are comfortable, cushioned banquet style chairs. I am getting chair covers because the chairs don’t match my colors.

If the chairs are nice and aren’t colors that would clash with your wedding, then I think it is fine not to get chair covers.

Moving out of state: Should I sell my furniture or hire a truck/moving company to move it?

Monday, October 25th, 2010

number of Star : Moving from State: Should I sell my furniture or rent a truck / moving company to move it ?
I take my parents’ house in another state (18 hours). I do not have much furniture, just a room full (large bonus room). I have a desk, chair, queen bed, futon, 2 bookcases full of books, do 2 folding beds butterfly chairs does not take (no room to move, because it can be folded like a beach chair), clothing, shoes, a side table, lamp, hanging miscellaneous jewelry that sits on top of my desk, that posters on my wall, a guitar and a Keyboard.Um be honest I never play keyboards or guitar, so I can sell them. The furniture, I have to do is cheap and the bed will probably be sold anyway, I want to share a bed with anybody when I move. I know that moving companies are quite expensive so it might not be worthwhile to hire a company or even a truck. But on the other hand, I doubt my parents to let me sell furniture, so it may be worth ergreifen. Was would you do in my situation Best Answer:

My cousin and her husband are horrible parents. Should I say something?

Thursday, September 16th, 2010
Outdoor Folding Chairs
by dougsamu

Question by Rachael: My cousin and her husband are horrible parents. Should I say something?
My cousin is 24 and her husband is 27 and they have a little boy who is around 18 months old. We both recently attended a wedding, which is the first time I have witnessed their parenting style.

We were on an outdoor patio and their little boy started to climb up on one of those flimsy folding lawn chairs. My cousin says, “He’s gonna fall and bust his head.” And then her husband says “Yup. But he won’t do it again.” And they both sit there and watch while their kid climbs on this wobbly old chair. So I get up and remove the kid from the chair. They look at me like I’m some sort of crazy person.

Later that day, the little boy wouldn’t stop trying to push the buttons on the tv so his dad took him in the other room and beat him for a full 5 minutes. He’s 18 months– still just a baby!

Should I say something to them and risk starting a family drama or ignore it and hope someone else starts it? Or is this enough to call Family Services? I feel awful for this little boy.
1. I DO have a child of my own.
2. The parents were around 50 feet away while their baby was climbing on that chair on a CONCRETE patio, risking serious injury. I’m not the type to sit back and watch a baby get a concussion, no matter whose baby it is.
3. Yes, they were BEATING him. His dad was hitting him so hard you could hear the smacking from the other room. It just went on and on. He was cussing at the baby and the baby was screaming. I thought I was going to be sick.

Just thought I would add that in case anyone else would like to be rude and tell me to mind my own business or call me a “troublemaker.” I’m obviously minding my own business because all I’ve done to this point is form an opinion about these people. I understand it’s a delicate situation, which is why I was hoping for a few sincere answers. If you can’t be constructive, then don’t bother answering.

What You Should Know About Plastic Folding Chairs

What You Should Know About Plastic Folding Chairs

There are several types of chairs available today. These are usually chosen depending on the occasion and your expected satisfaction. Your interest in plastic folding chairs might best be known to you. However, there are a number of people out there who might lack the right information as to the ideal places for use and its general importance. This article is therefore intended to offer you more insight as to the appropriate places and time these chairs are required to be used as well as some facts to increase your stock of knowledge on the chair.

You would agree with me that no chair comes almost near when it comes to the level of flexibility and comfort in your office or even the lawns than the plastic folding chairs.

The chair dates way back into centuries. What is best known is that Egyptians developed what was called the folding stools for certain important occasion. Among some of these included the marking of military and ceremonial applications. Time has not spared this chair with a number of changes and transformations. The chair has actually seen major evolvement overtime even to these modern days. Today, they are versatile in nature. Folding chairs usually fold up for easy and quick storage in closets and trunks and places where standard seating is supposed to be left out more or less permanently. One other important feature about the plastic folding chairs is that they are more compact when packing them. This means many of them can be packed to occupy a small amount of space.

They are usually made of plastic and are built to resist scratches and other defects associated with transporting them from one place to the other. Even though the plastic folding chair can be of use in so many places like, sporting events, concerts and gyms can be perfect places for these chairs.

Again, the plastic folding chairs are highly recommended for travelers. This is because unlike the other folding chairs made of metals which are usually tough; these plastic ones are sturdy but less tough for their use. Again, I’m sure you will be comfortable to lift a number of the plastic made chairs compared with lifting only two or three of the ones made of metal. In other words they are less heavy and can easily be stacked together to allow easy lifting. Offices also enjoy their usage due the fact that they look sleeker with more professional outlook and very flexible. Their particular stylish appearance adds value when used in places like the church, outdoor weddings as well as reception halls. It would not be a bad idea at all to consider them when planning your next outdoor event!
