It’s a folding chaise longue, usually called chaise lounge in English. (The French means long chair.)

I would like to paint my daughter’s name on her folding camping chair. What paint do I use?

Question by I am a Mom: I would like to paint my daughter’s name on her folding camping chair. What paint do I use?
I am pretty sure the fabric is polyester. I have seen them screen printed with logos, but I want to do this myself to save money. I want to put her name across the top of the backrest. It is one of those fold-up lawn chairs. Here is a link to the type of chair http://www.kmart.com/shc/s/p_10151_10104_089W378522110001P

Any of the fabric paints available at the craft store will be right. After they dry on fabric, they become water resistant. A suggestion, after you paint it, outline it with a black paint pen (or some other coordinating color) to make it POP.
