I take my parents’ house in another state (18 hours). I do not have much furniture, just a room full (large bonus room). I have a desk, chair, queen bed, futon, 2 bookcases full of books, do 2 folding beds butterfly chairs does not take (no room to move, because it can be folded like a beach chair), clothing, shoes, a side table, lamp, hanging miscellaneous jewelry that sits on top of my desk, that posters on my wall, a guitar and a Keyboard.Um be honest I never play keyboards or guitar, so I can sell them. The furniture, I have to do is cheap and the bed will probably be sold anyway, I want to share a bed with anybody when I move. I know that moving companies are quite expensive so it might not be worthwhile to hire a company or even a truck. I’ve had a lot of people ask me for this video, so here goes… In 1993 I had a public access Cable TV show called ‘CARPOOLING WITH KALYNN”, a weird twist on the talking head format. In this episode, I ‘interview’ my good friend Paul Marco – He was best known as KELTON THE COP in the ED WOOD ‘Plan-9 from outer space’ trilogy. Hear him tell Ed Wood stories, listen to him dish on Bela Lugosi, watch him fall and crack his head (part two)!!! Yep, but he was a good sport about it and went on with the show anyway. See, the car was actually a foam-core cutout that I had painted and folded back to give the ‘hood’ perspective. This was set up on a 2 foot riser (to let the blue-screen fill the area to the bottom) with nothing more than 2 folding chairs on it – but because the ‘car hood’ was at such a long angle, the chairs were positioned at the very edge of the riser. You can see Paul squirming quite a bit and I was worried that he was moving the chair too far back – and as soon as I start to tell him that his chair was too close to the edge, he took the spill, slamming his head against the wall behind the riser! He insisted we finish the show, so after some fancy (yea right) editing with vintage footage, we were back up and running! It is quite fascinating to hear Paul tell what it was like during the filming of Ed’s masterpieces.
