Question by Kim C: Any ideas on decorating folding chairs without chair covers?
I just don’t see the point in renting chair covers for my party, but I want to punch up the decor a little bit. Pics would be appreciated! TIA

Lay down a tarp and take paint/paint brushes and splatter paint them tons of different colors It’d be a lot of fun too!

What we have for the area available is not such as big metal chairs! Not really budget, chair covers rent (and probably not if we wanted), so I have to do really decorate just looking for something on his back a bit nicer. All I could find to rent for my wedding this summer are white metal folding chairs with white seats. I’ve not seen the chairs, I don’t know if I will before the wedding since I’m renting them from out of town. I’m buying some 1.5″ wide ribbon and plan on just wrapping the top of each chair just once and then attaching some decoration on the back where the ends of the ribbon will meet. The ribbon is white, pink and green stripes. Any ideas on how much ribbon per chair would be needed, I’m guessing for an average size folding chair, and what to put for the decoration on the back? Links would be helpful too! Oh and it will be an outdoor wedding next to a waterfall. Thanks!

Can you return the ribbon? Honestly, this is something that none of your guests are going to notice, and so it’s a waste of your time to tie all these ribbons to the chairs, when the chairs will look perfectly fine as they are.
