As time moves along quickly, a lot of people choose to simply be observers in life. A smaller group chooses to participate. When I was 9 years old, my parents chose to participate in the great American opportunity by immigrating to the US from Israel. Since the uncle who sponsored us to come here lived in Oklahoma, we settled in Tulsa. The summers there were hot and humid. The winters were cold and snowy. Every New Year’s Day, it was a family tradition to watch the Tournament of Roses Parade on television. I’d watch that parade every year and vowed that one day I would do something about my desire to live in that climate. How many times have you watched life’s parade passing by and vowed that one day you would take action on an important goal? Every year I thought that some day I’d like to go and see that parade in person. Benjamin Franklin said that the word “someday” is equivalent to failure. Be careful how you use that word. It is closely tied to “observer” rather than “participant.” In the fall of last year, I decided to become a participant in this goal. I made a few calls and quickly identified the Pasadena company that sells tickets for seats in the grandstands that line the Rose Parade route. Amazingly, it was not that expensive to purchase a reserved seat in the large viewing stand at the beginning of the parade route. That’s where the television networks position their cameras. Question by Mark: Something to glue/seal my shoe’s sole and the actual shoe back together?
Ok this is just a hypothetical situation:

Say I went camping last Friday night and got completely blitzed, eventually falling asleep in a folding chair with one of my feet in the fire. I wake up to find the toe end of my sole completely peeled away from the shoe itself. What could I use to reattach the sole if this (hypothetically) happened to me?

What is a good chair to have where I can lean back, having only 2/4 legs on the ground and does not break? I’ve broken plastic ones, wooden ones, and folding ones. No, I’m not fat.
I like the feeling of leaning back, so I’m not going to use a couch. Plus, I’m talking about like when I play video games, and I play better up close, closer than sitting on my couch.

The idea of a folding stool that also has a back, making it more “chair like” began generating interest several decades ago. Question by SPRING: We just got a new covered deck , what colors would be good to paint the back wall & wood work .?
I want a differant color then the sidding & windows of the house that is now white & dark green trim . The covered deck will be stained med to dark brown & is inclosed with lattice at the ends & below the railing across the front .
I want to decorate it to look cool , cozy & very relaxing .
Is there any place to find decor ideas for decks .
I also need to conseal some things that don’t match on the back wall , like 2 kinds of sidding . We couldn’t find sidding to match our old sidding when they tore off an old loundry room to make room for the new deck . The deck is really great but the 21′ back wall is an eye sore .
I’ll be putting Kills out side primer on in the next few days .
We have a round green glass top table & chairs 2 pink 2 green & some folding chairs , a long white table to serve food & a gas grill at the other end . . Hot & cold running water , electric lights & safe water proof plugs .
Any decorating & consealing ideas would be great ,
