I’m trying to find a way to attach a pen to a few dozen metal folding chairs so that those sitting behind these chairs can use and return the pen when finished.
Requirements:
1) Nothing can be permanently attached to the chair; the device must be able to be removed and re-applied any number of times.
2) The “pen” can be any writing instrument.
3) The device must be available for purchase or made using materials that are available for purchase. This must be proved by providing a web page reference (unless it’s a very common item).
4) The solution must look professional (e.g. “duct tape” can solve almost any problem, but usually doesn’t look very nice.)
5) The total cost per each pen and its associated attachment device must be $ 1 or less.
6) The device must be quiet (e.g. no Velcro).
Magnetic solutions are welcome. I’ve considered attaching magnets to the pens, but that risks violating #4 above – not a very graceful solution.

Answer by Kelli M I am not sure how to do it, you would need to play with it.. but some fabric and some hot glue and you should be able to make little magnetic loops… see if you can visualize what I am saying… a small round magnet with a fabric hoop glued to it. the magnet would attach to the chair (for as long as you needed it) and the pens would slip onto the loop (noiseless & cute)

Theres a new twist in the story of the $ 500,000 in gold discovered by a bidder at a California storage auction two weeks ago. StorageAuctionCentral.com reports that they were contacted by a man who claims to know the original owner of the storage unit.
On November 8, 2011, Dan and Laura Dotson, of television show Storage Wars fame, reported that a bidder at one of their auctions had discovered $ 500,000 in gold coins after purchasing the contents of a storage unit for $ 1,100. The coins were described as Spanish doubloons and reported to be at least 200 years old.
After reading about the find on StorageAuctionCentral.com, a man named Curtis P. contacted the news outlet to detail what he knew of the coins history. Curtis identified the owner of the gold as Daniel David Rigmaiden, a man who is currently awaiting trial in the United States District Court of Arizona (No. CR-08-814-PHX-DGC) on federal charges of fraud and identity theft. Rigmaiden, a self-described hacker, is accused of running a complex identity theft ring that stole more than $ 4 million from the U.S. government through the filing of fraudulent tax returns.
Curtis relayed that he had met Rigmaiden in jail while being held for unrelated charges and that Rigmaiden asked him to take care of his apartment and storage units. Curtis said he was unable to make payment on the storage units because Rigmaiden had leased them under an alias that had not been disclosed to him.
Curtis described Rigmaiden as a troubled genius whose apartment was devoid of nearly all modern amenities. The only furniture he had were two tables, a folding chair, and a cot, said Curtis. Curtis also said that Rigmaiden didnt spend lavishly and would convert his stolen funds into gold and silver that he would then store away from his home. He didnt even have a car, said Curtis.
Rigmaidens case reads like a modern day cloak and dagger novel, complete with undercover FBI and Secret Service operatives and suppression by the federal government of information about a secretive technology known as Stingray that is used to track cellular phone locations.
Curtis said Rigmaiden described the storage unit as containing $ 680,000 in gold, silver, and platinum. A wired.com article on Rigmaidens case stated that more than $ 116,000 cash and $ 210,000 in gold and silver coins were found when searching Rigmaidens home and another storage unit he rented.

Camp makes hammocks were cool, but assumed that it was a bit of a novelty. Portable hammocks, or so I thought it would be like folding camping chairs – one thing for a little extra comfort, while hanging around your campsite, but far from a necessity. I am a pretty heavy camper, and when I leave the woods I do not know much in the way of comfort items. Everything I story is when I camp my tent, my bag, some food and some clothes. That’s all. Normally I would learn a good guide or a harmonica to play next, as we sit around the fire, but never to take anything particularly big and bulky. I suppose that camping hammocks, no matter how comfortable, not for me.
I have not noticed what could be a useful thing, a camping hammock. Camping hammocks, go after everyone, not just with the traditional strategy at the campsite. Traditionally, you will receive tents, sleeping bags and maybe a sleeping pad. They sleep on the bottom and use the sleeping bag to insulate. Camping Hammocks, however, significantly simplifying the process. The really cool thing about them is that they are isolated from ground. Probably you will not imagine, but an all-climate camping hammock is more comfortable than all but the hottest looking bags. This is because you are surrounded by air. This uniform approach to measurement helps overall national goal of improving patient safety journey by learning and prevention. Cook Area, New Zealand Entry Title: “Lows and Hieghts” Entry: “Before we proceed into the meat of the story, I feel the need to elucidate the specifics of our situation. New Zealand is very different from Asia (duh, Mike) and it took me a couple days to adjust. The biggest adjustment was our style of traveling. Where Jon and I were used to MRTs, taxis, tuk tuks, ferries, skytrains, buses, etc., in New Zealand we’d only be relying on a 1988 Toyota Liteace Diesel van. For those of you who don’t know, a van of this model houses a full queen sized bed in the back and only has two seats in front. But Mike, you plus Jon plus Buddy means there were three people. Did you sit on each other’s laps or something? Only when it got cold. (just kidding) Buddy had already solved the seating problem. (and no, playing musical chairs is not a solution, so that’s enough Reggie) Buddy set up a folding camping chair in the space which opens up when the bed is folded away. It faced sideways. We called it the beer chair. Not entirely sure why. I have a vague memory of similar chairs being on Buddy porch at his house in SLO, but I digress. Gee, Mike, I hate to interrupt again, but a folding chair sitting precariously in a moving van doesn’t seem very safe. Or legal. As far as safety is concerned, I was often …
